From the very liberal Data for Progress polling and analysis project. This is described in their memo as "spiking" support for cutting funding. And it is certainly true that support for this idea has taken an upward turn. But it's from a very low level; judging from the graph, it looks like cutting funding is still only 27-28 percent with the rest of the population wanting to keep funding the same or increase it.
